Will be rolling out some cool images this week shot with a pre-production Nikon Z 7II, and was very happy to be part of the campaign for the newest edition of the Nikon Z system. I had a mandate–fill the frame with color and detail, and let the camera tackle it. We had beautiful gardens and greenery to work with, and in the midst of all the verdant luxury were these old walls, and crumbling stone. I pushed the new mirrorless Nikon Z 7 II camera all day, in bright light, subdued light and flash light. The camera performed superbly.
A fun behind-the-scenes video!
Many thanks to Nikon USA for the opportunity. We had a wonderful day in the field with great talent and an amazing team! Big thanks to all. Flawless production by Lynn DelMastro, and Samantha Brown contributed stunning styling. On location, we had lead HMU Victor Noble, HMU Francesca Maria, director/cinematographer Andrew Tomasino, and a hard working crew, headed up by crew chief Mike Grippi. We followed on with video editing by Chris Hershman, and lovely retouching by Solstice Retouching.
And then, of course, I had Munira Zul-qa in front of the lens. Beautiful, rangy, and mobile, she was a joy to work with, and gave the camera lots of challenges as well, with the rapidity of the changes of her looks at the camera and her lovely moves in the frame.
More to come from this adventure.
